ConsultCloud Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the activities and content that are not permitted on the ConsultCloud marketing website and application at app.consultcloud.co (the "Services"). It applies to every customer, user and visitor and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited content
You must not upload, generate, transmit or store content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading.
- Infringes intellectual property, trade secret, privacy or publicity rights.
- Contains malware, exploits or other harmful code.
- Constitutes child sexual abuse material or sexualises minors in any way.
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism or incites violence against people or groups.
- Harasses, threatens, bullies or discriminates on the basis of a protected characteristic.
- Contains regulated personal data (such as health or financial data) without a lawful basis to process it.
2. Prohibited activities
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other accounts, or any underlying systems.
- Probing, scanning or testing the vulnerability of the Services without prior written authorisation.
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity, performance or availability of the Services.
- Bypassing rate limits, plan limits, billing controls or security controls.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling or scraping the Services, except where permitted by law.
- Reselling, sublicensing or providing the Services to third parties outside the scope of your subscription.
- Using the Services to build a competing product.
3. Prohibited industries and use cases
ConsultCloud is sold through Paddle as our Merchant of Record. In line with Paddle's acceptable use rules and our own risk appetite, the Services may not be used in connection with:
- Adult content, gambling, weapons, narcotics or other restricted goods.
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes or pseudo-financial advice.
- Cryptocurrency trading platforms, mixers or unregulated financial services.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk communications or lead-generation that breaches applicable law.
- Any business model that is illegal in the jurisdictions where it operates.
4. AI and generated content
Outputs generated by ConsultCloud's AI features must not be used to deceive, harm or defraud others. You must not use AI features to:
- Impersonate any person or organisation.
- Generate misleading legal, medical or financial advice presented as professional advice.
- Produce content that breaches the prohibitions in sections 1 to 3.
- Train competing models or produce derivative model outputs using our Services as a covert input.
You remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before sharing it externally, as set out in our AI Policy.
5. Security and abuse
Suspected security issues should be reported via our . Suspected breaches of this AUP can be reported via our .
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches of this AUP. Depending on the severity we may warn the customer, remove offending content, suspend specific features, suspend or terminate the account, refuse refunds for the affected period and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. Where Paddle's rules require us to act, we will do so without notice.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified within the application or by email to account holders.
